When this option is checked, the visitors will not be able to see the results directly. Instead, they will have to vote in order to see the results.

This option is useful when you want to order choices results by some criteria like votes.

Order by: This specifies how you want to order your answers. You can select votes, label, date, or just randomly (shuffled).

Order Direction: Whether you want the order to be ascending or descending.

This option comes handy when you need to hide results (blind poll). You will be able to specify a custom content for them to see after voting instead of the results.

Until Reaching: The results will remain hidden until either “Quota” or “End Date” reaches or both.

Results Content: This is where you specify the content that will be shown to the voters instead of the results.

This option specifies how to describe the result of a choice to the user.

Example:

  • Votes only selected – 1354 Votes
  • Percentages only selected – 48%
  • Both selected – 1354 Votes ( 48% )

Minimum Selection & Maximum Selection

Minimum Selection: The minimum number of choices the visitors can vote for.

Maximum Selection: The maximum number of choices the visitors can vote for.

Choices Per Page: Sometimes you might have many choices, with this option you can have a pagination where you have pages with each page having specific number of choices specified by the Choices Per Page field.

If this option is selected, visitors will see the choices ordered.

Order by: This specifies how you want to order your answers. You can select votes, label, date, or just randomly (no order).

Order Direction: Whether you want the order to be ascending or descending.

This option allows visitors to add new choices to the poll via “Other” field.

Hide New submission for moderation: When a visitor enters a new submission (choice) to the poll, it will be invisible until you change the choice visibility from poll editor.
